Organized by the Vancouver Asian Film Festival (VAFF) in collaboration with the Consulate-General of Japan in Vancouver and the Japan Foundation Toronto, this project matched talented filmmakers with<br \/>\n                        Japanese-related community organizations to produce short films (approx. 4-5 minutes) that explore the deep connections between the two nations.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<th>Objectives &#038; Results<\/th>\n<td>The project aimed to promote understanding of Canada-Japan relations, visualize &#8220;connections with Japan&#8221; within a multicultural society, and nurture young filmmakers.
